Hi
I have just replaced the plugs on my 50th with NKG Iridium ones and the leads with a set of Magnecor ELECTROSPORTS 80 - blue ones - see their web site - http://www.magnecor.co.uk/productinformation.htm
When I bought the leads I assumed the Range Rover 4.0 SE set would be the same - IT WAS NOT
I got in touch with Phil De Wit at Magnecor (0870 444 8644) who was extremly helpful. I produced a 1/1 drawing of the OEM leads and sent this to him along with the 4.0SE leads - they then remade/modified me a complete set.
GOOD NEWS - Magnecor can now make a set of their performance leads especially for the Defender 50th - and wow what a difference especially so if you are running on LPG - like wot I am !!!
Simon # 149
PS I have no commercial connection with Magnecor at all - I am just a very happy customer. |

Hi James
Got the plugs and leads from Chris Perfect the plugs £269.80 for a set of eight a bit pricey but worth it. FYI Chris suggested that the gap should be set at 0.7/0.8 mm - may however be different if only using petrol - (mines dual fuel). see...................

As for leads I got mine initially from Chris a RR 4.0SE set
cost was £79.00 see his website. Or contact Magnecor direct
as they now have the pattern ( I have mailed Chris as well so he may sell
them on his site). see...................

Chris's prices include delivery & VAT.

Thanks Simon. I guess you mean £69.80 or they would be some mega expensive plugs
Best regards
James
