Hi,

I recently had a SmarTrack 5+ iMOB fitted and want it connected to the vehicle alarm/immobiliser, so it triggers an alert when/if the alarm goes off. I have had the vehicle a couple of years and assume the immobiliser (with two button keyfob) was whatever LR fitted as standard? Either way, the installer said he needs the original 'build sheet' from that in order to know how/where to wire the tracker on to.

Anyone know where I could obtain that or any other ideas of what or where to connect to have the alarm trigger on a tracker?

Cheers,

Simon

Have you taken a look at the Electrical Circuit diagrams at https://issuu.com/allangreen/docs/defender-v8i-electrical-circuit-diagrams, kindly posted by Allan formerly of this parish

Thanks Rupert, looks like an interesting set of DOCs! Global Telemetrics have said this isn't something their installers can help with sadly, despite saying this is what they needed to be able to wire it all together. So it's back to Gap Security who originally supplied the tracker to see what they can do...

I found this as well, one and the same as the folder you sent Rupert, this one you can download as PDF.
