That looks like a decent prospect to me.
I bought a very similar condition GB 50th, with LPG around 4 years ago from a dealer near Manchester. It cost me just under £11K to restore including replacement of the rear crossmember and treat the chassis, three new doors, sort out all the bodywork and do a glass out respray, plus remove the LPG (i'm not a fan of driving around with a gas bottle). I sold that one around 18 months ago and it went for £35,000
GB225 with a value of £30 - 35k when it is restored (probably more if you did a full chassis replacement), say £12k to restore and there is plenty room to make some money with that start price |

No I shan't be bidding on this one. someone much smarter than me has already reliably informed me that five V8 Defenders really is enough for one man and I don't need another one..... |
