Safety Devices were very helpful and provided the colour code.

Can’t say for sure. But mine hasn’t, it’s a UK 50th.
The connector is part of the engine harness, so would have probably been used for all markets, LHD and RHD.

I have a spare connector under mine. A switch connector for gearbox oil temp warning lamp. It is grey with red trace and black (earth).
Hope this might help.
