is this with kleentech?
if not why dont you do it yourself?
do you have a compressor?
if not use the pump system - not as good but serves the same purpose..
steam clean your motor and let it dry off properly.
use shultz in stead of waxoil and add paraffin wax and grease if you can!
if not heat in a tub of hot water and lather on undr neath..
takes an hour or so to just throw on or about 3 hours if you me.
to give you an idea i use about 10 tins of shultz to do the underneath cost about 25 quid at worst.
hope this helps. _________________ Sadly not a 50th member any longer more like a hanger-on if you know what i mean.

Hi Nick
I hear it is very good - I believe he injects all the cavities as well - thinking of going this route myself. A bit pricey though - Simmonities quoted me £250 + VAT just to do the underside. Be interested to hear a report - when are you booked in ?

pitty your not local to me....
could do it for you!
i do mine every 6months to keep on top of it...
im sure if you willing to get the stuff and pay toward the leccy bill (since it's a big three horse compressor) i can achive somethig for you if your bothered.
it will take about an hour to cover the bottom fully and another hour for all the nooks and crannies.
maybe i should do this as a buisness venture? _________________ Sadly not a 50th member any longer more like a hanger-on if you know what i mean.

I'm sure he does a good job, but it is expensive.
His workshop is only about 5 minites down the road from me.
Best regards

Yes before and after is expensive, especially when the price goes up by £100 before VAT whilst your there discussing a booking having just read his advert which showed the lower price !!
I was very tempted to do the kleentect job on my 50th but thankfully decided against it as i havent that sort of money floating around with nothing to do !!
As far as his work is, i'd say it was very good just a shame the enviroment he does it in doesnt sell the job well. |

I used him to do disco 2 - 2 years ago . and he did a ok job , the car hire is good , but it cost me £20 quid to get a cover note (so its not free) his premises is chaotic , and he forgot I was coming because he had to go to a court case in the morning ?so we were still there at 9pm at night . I won,t be taking my 50th there - back to the old Waxoyl gun.
His advertising bill must be astronomical ! |

Hi Nick
Just wondering how the Before 'n' after treatment went - would be great to hear your views/experience - looking at having mine done - I've had local quotes (Yorkshire) for £250 + VAT but that just the underside - door cavities etc will be extra - estimate £150 - £200 - so getting near Chris's price - only prob is getting from Yorks to him - a l o n g d a y !
Cheers
Simon

Hi Nick
Thanks for that - Does he inject all the cross members, cavaties, and door as well - especially the bulkhead ! If you don't mind me asking what dd he charge you - I think he adverties £450.00 + VAT - was this the case.
Chers

Simon,
Saw new ad in new LRO yesterday page 230 from The Waxworks.
www.thewaxworks.net
0191 265 9515 / 07900813 717
Apparently they are waxoyl treatment specialists
Have you tried them already?!! |

Thanks for that -- did come across them while surfing - but had no feedback so unsure - interesting they are advertising LRO (haven't) read mine yet ! Will give them a shout - aspecially as I live in Bradford and they caliam to operate in Barnsley - a lot nearer that Before 'n' after - just think of the saving in fuel alone ....... now what will that go towards !
Cheers
