such is life
never mind old boy im sure there will be another event and another time.

talking of which
i have organised with the "Live Promotion brigade" for the show and for our Club...Doncaster Defenders a stand at peterbrough and Stonleigh.
for all you lot too.
so if you wanna come down and either just pop in or show your motor off please give us a ring and so long as we have space we should be able to accomordate you.

for those of you coming down / up to the shows ring me before you buy your tickets.
since organising stands at the event i normally get a reduced rate for tickets so ring me first. it's not always the case but on the whole...well you know the rest.
for interest i could get 20quid of the tickets for extra guests at the driffield show and the camping passes were 45 quid instead of 65 quid.
for those of you camping there is a slim chance of sorting out camping space on the stands too...but you must ring me first...space can be very tight at some shows and the organisers dont always like loads of tent near the arena area.
Chris

I may go to Billing this year. It would only be for the day though, probably saturday or sunday. It would be great if we could get into the arena to show off our vehicles.
I used to have a Range Rover CSK and was a member of the Range Rover Register. No one there seemed interested in 'get to gethers' for vehicles of the same model ie CSK. I'm glad that theres more enthusiasm on here, just a shame i had to pay twice as much to partake in it !!!!! Smile

Would have liked to have met up, but I can't do Billing.
Am still hoping to pop over to Eastnor in a couple of weeks though (not sure which day yet though).

Jeremy - I used to have an '86 RR - but the CSK was my ideal RR!
I always preferred the proportions of the 2 doors, and the CSK with it's later 'comfort' niceties like ARBs etc. Nice motor.
Couldn't afford one at the time though. Crying or Very sad
Have you got any pics?

If I am ever lucky enough to have a house with a good size garage or workshop (or better still - a barn!! Very Happy ) I think I would get a 2 door RR to do up! Maybe an early Series too! Series 1 would be nice...! Ho hum, back to work..

I have a Series 1 88" V8 c/w overdrive for sale -plenty of potential.

I know how you feel- i could do with a barn-its hard to afford the land for that let alone land for a house round here !!

I'm intending to go for the day to Billing as previously mentioned, poss sat/sun not sure yet.

Black 50th- a definate must see- my next project is a Black 110 CSW 50th spec ish !

Thanks for the pics Jeremy - very nice motors!!
How on earth do you fit a V8 in a series 1? Or is it in the back? Laughing
I would take it off your hands if I had somewhere to put it! How much are you looking for?
Do like the CSK. Funny how small the tyres look when you're used to the 50th's!

And is that your garden with the LR artwork (chassis) in it? Like it!
