Hi all,
I'm a new user on here, but not new to Defenders (past 10+ years with various TD5s).
I'm after a 50th Anniversary Steering wheel and Gearknob. It would be nice to get both but either is fine for now.
Please kindly send me a PM with any info. I'm happy to collect or if postage is fine, then of course ideal too!

The aluminium transfer knobs are made out of unobtainium - so you'll struggle. Likewise the proper 50th steering wheel with grey leather is also hard to find and expensive if you do. i've seen a couple turn up on ebay - but never the gear knob.
However the 36 spline leather steering wheel with black leather although rare in 36 spline do turn up from time to time.
These are identified by having the Land Rover Defender Steering Wheel Indicator Cancelling Ring - NRC7636 which pushes onto the rear of the steering wheel. The later 48 spline type have the cancelling part integrated into the casting of the wheel as two square lugs. |

Just thought I'd update this for anybody going forward... if somebody desires one.
I know of someone who has a Brand New Old Stock original 50th Steering wheel. They are also including an excellent condition period correct centre pad and also an excellent condition modern centre pad. |
