Guess they didn't find a buyer with £60K odd burning a hole in his pocket for a restored 50th then....
Nice mileage and looks like its largely original except for the lack of hard top. From the pictures it's likely to need the usual attention to doors, wings, cappings, bulkhead repair and some paintwork but has potential to make a nice 50th for someone.
If someone is looking for a GB car to restore i'd say it has potential but if it is staying as a soft top it would benefit from changing the roll cage to one that is designed for a soft top. The original 50th cage is really only designed for use in hard top configuration and doesn't offer the same protection as the NAS or Safety Devices cages that were designed for soft tops. |
