Hi,
If you add the two together, as some were registered as just Defender V8 and some defender 50 V8 auto you get to 344.
Back in 2011 jimblowscash did a search and also came up with 344 so this is probably about the correct number.. _________________ James

That's also surprising, a loss of just 41 x 50ths in 20 years, via various routes, the obvious being total loss or exported

The totals on their own can't really be taken at face value, there were more than 30 V8s listed prior to 1998 which obviously weren't 50ths so need to be deducted and some of the 50th coming back from Japan along with the NAS V8 Defenders from Japan, Middle East & USA markets over the years will be adding to the total. |
