Hi there, I found the site while looking around for info on the defender. I am looking into buying a 50th, i went to have a look at one yesterday while viewing a Range Rover and was quite taken by it It had quite a bad oil leak and was pretty tatty for £15k so decided to walk away. It had air suspension fitted which was great fun is that standard? I have seen the Overfinch one for sale on Autotrader and will be looking to set up a viewing for it in the next couple of weeks. Anyone have any thoughts on it? Is the price too high? It looks quite tidy from the photos.
Thanks

Hi Luke,
You right to walk away from that one, its got a custom air suspention and a very complicated LPG. Its been mentioned in a few recent posts (http://www.defender50th.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=318)
The overfinch one i think is nice. I met the guy who had it all done and i think he spent a forture. The re-spray was £7,000 alone. I'm not sure about the £25k price tag, would be a hard one to sell on but if you want to keep it then it would be great fun!

Yeah, £25k is a bit much. I would rather a 50th that looks like a 50th. Get a nice one and then upgrade it how you want it, thats all the fun
