Should there be a problem or a delay for either of us arriving - only wait for 10 mins then set off again at 6:40. |
God plan V8GPC, I'll see you there! _________________ GB066

Hi all,
50th’s are going to have our own space, each parking space will be numbered so we can have them in number order. The numbers will be at the front of the space so you can reverse over it and it be displayed at the front.
Yeah I know, sad but why not

For those travelling from the south, below is a google link to a route that starts from Jn12 M40 taking in locations
British Motor Museum
JLR Gaydon site
Aston Martin site
Then travelling along the Fosse Way and leaving at Eathorpe to Wappenbury taking a drive by of Wappenbury Hall where Sir William Lyons of Jaguar fame lived and brought all new models home for approval by his wife .
Then joining the Oxford road at Princethorpe to travel the last short distance to the event.

Looking forward to tomorrow. I know this isn't the parts for sale area but I have a spare pair of aluminium window winders which I will bring with me. They are in good, used condition. If anyone there wants them I'll take £100 for them.
See you all tomorrow. _________________ Cheers, Chris

Unfortunately my weekend plans have gone south and I won't be able to make it tomorrow with my 50th.
Very sad to be missing it, but I hope you all have a good event. |

I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all that attended the event today! I know some of you travelled massive distances to get to the venue, and even transporting part finished projects at huge expense!!!
It was so great to see so many 50s together, and I sincerely hope everyone enjoyed the day! I understand we did get to 50×50ths which is an amazing achievement! Land Rover monthly magazine should have a nice little piece to do on this.
I will be getting the official photographs in the next couple of days and will post up as many as possible. _________________ Greg

What a fantastic day ! Never seen so many 50th's in one place and a record that surely cannot be beaten.... The Works 'office' was just brilliant - what a job the people who work there have. I thought the workshop was good but man, when I walked into the 'Collection'.... 435 cars in there I think the lady said.. and what a selection - I went around twice!. Bacon rolls and Tea went down well too.
...the ride out in the 70th, well, icing on the cake for me and Dad, just awesome.
Thank you to EVERYONE who made the day happen - just brilliant. _________________ Cheers,
