|
|
Hi,
Just suffered a split brake pipe where the front to rear pipe rises up the rear of the chassis (just in front of the rear axle).
It looks like it's the common story of corrosion hidden by waxoyl.
I'm banking on replacing all of the pipes on the basis if one has gone the others won't be far behind.
Can anyone who has done this job let me know how difficult it is? I've rebuilt brake systems on minis etc. so I'm just looking for anything specific to watch for, such as how to get to the pipes etc.
And does anyone know if this is the right kit for the brake pipes?

Any kits to avoid?
And is this the right braided kit?
