I think the market has already voted on that question really. Their value is pretty much the same as the equivalent age/ condition CSW with no real premium for their "status" as limited edition.
I think the problem with them is there is nothing special over and above a standard CSW to differentiate them from the standard cars, so why would anyone pay a premium. If they had more power/ no bulkhead/ leather interior/ etc. or some other significant differences then they might attract premium money, but as they don't then I would see them as a nice/ desirable variant of the 300TDI but not worth any significant premium |
