Any ideas who makes, where I can get, a new petrol tank guard?

MIB Components in Leamington used to make them but I think they have gone out of business.

MIB are now called RCP (Replacement Chassis Parts

I am contacting YRM as they have made them in the past. I spoke to them at Newbury Sortout.A number maybe required for a build so please watch this space as I wait for their reply.

Mantec do a tank guard that is supposed to be suitable for the 50th

They can supply one for £180.00 inc vat plus P&P
4 - 6 weeks delivery from receipt of payment

Unfortunately it's aluminium.
I got a gorgeous stainless one on GB002 from America years ago but the guy didn't make them for long.

The cradle is made from 6mm thick aluminium with stainless steel clinch nuts.

Got a reply from RCP off Facebook/Messenger

"Hi Simon,yes we do in either steel or alloy , steel are £150 alloy are £250 . Postage is £18 on a next day service. RCP."

Pfrobally go for the steel one and paint in "Buzzweld" CIO then Dintrol. Smile
