Hi
I just purchased a LHD Defender 50th. I didn't realise they did them in green and love the colour (most I have seen have been white).
I had purchased it to modify it as I didn't realize that these cars are collectible. Saying that it doesn't have any service records so it could still be a possibility..I wanted to do a luxury version with lots of leather and soundproofing etc.to go with the auto and AC and perhaps paint the outside in a smoke silver or deep bottle green metallic with a clay red leather interior...now I am torn...
She is in pretty good condition with few mods

It's the first green one I have seen, I have a white one number 271.

This isn't a 50th, it's one of the few NAS spec defender for Japan. I had a few emails with the owner now so he has a lucky find really. _________________ James

So...the good news is its very tidy and indeed a NAS Japan version..the bad news...it was built after 1.11.97 which means it cannot be imported to USA...and so back onto the good news..I guess I can modify it to my heart's content as it doesn't really have value beyond being relatively rare |

Would suggest you make any mods reversible as the rarity factor is likely to drive a value for it in the future. |

Just had some awesome news. The car was built on 29 August 1997. The date provided by BHIMT is the date the car left the factory. So it is in fact Nort American compliant. So back to no mods😂 |
