Developed a fault recently on one, when starting and turning over the needle moves like it should but when running the needle drops and stays dead

Any ideas?

Fixed it Very Happy the tacho is linked via the w connection on the alternator with a spade and screw connection. The part connection was faulty inside s a quick cut and replacement connection to the alternator and is perfect.
