I am fitting a galvanised chassis and most of the lower body panels so will have the old parts for sale. They are all pretty good but I am bringing the car back to nearly new so it will last another 20 years.
Parts available:
Chassis - passed MOT but told it will need some welding in the next few years.
2 doors
front wings
rear wings
I don't have a clue what they may be worth if anything so am open to offers
Need to collect from Settle, North Yorkshire

Note to anyone that may be interested, I am only wanting to get rid of the metal bits as I will need the trims, wheel arch window bits etc.

Have you got hold of the correct replacement wing sides then?
I thought they weren't readily available.
ie, No air intake, hole for cage bracket and small square hole for side repeater.

Part numbers:
ASB710040
ASB710050

It has now gone to the surgeon for its cosmetic job. Surgeon told me the rear wings would not be suitable for a transplant as he would need to destroy them to get them off so sorry no rear wings.

Been to the body shop today and although the doors are usable I would rather give them away than take someone's money and them feeling they have been ripped off. So if anyone wants front wing skins, doors or chassis you can collect from Settle as long as I don't have to do anything. If anyone does want them and thinks they are worth anything a donation to St. Mary's hospice, Ulverston would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'm in Giggleswick! - are you using a local bodyshop? GB149 needs a respray. Be interested to see yours.

Cheers

Simon

Simon
It's at Ribblesdale Land Rover
Had a word with Joe in the bodyshop and he is happy for you to have a look.
He said people think that because they are a main dealer they will be very expensive but they are not and they have had no problem getting the genuine parts .

Chassis not worth bothering with so nothing left.
But it is looking good on it's new chassis.
It's now got paint where Land Rover didn't bother.
Sorry to the purists but it is now Land Rover colour Luxor
Wife, who's car it is, started out wanting it pink so it could have been worse.

Saw GB212 yesterday as I live nearby - quite some makeover - very shiny chassis Very Happy Strange seeing a makeover in LR dealer - Also say a lovely Series 1 that they are restoring. Looking forward to seeing it complete.
