just to let you know my experience of fitting a Falcon 4x4 central locking kit on our 50th, I has tranformed the vehicles ease of use amazingly, well worth £150 and a little work.
the down side is the instructions are a bit sparse,but you can look at more photos on their website, also the trigger wire colour is wrong to the ultrasonic unit in the instructions, should read "black" on 50th
also rather than take all the window assemblies out and fit the solenoids behind the glass, I mounted them upright below the latch, with operating rod attatched to the plastic door buttons, works fine. that saved hours!
also reassembled the rear door latch with cut down M5 screws to be able to take them apart again,rather than rivets, brazing the rod attactment to the latch took some skill!
If I did it again on another one, I could have it all done in four hours I reckon |
