Hi everyone,
I'm selling my 50th as I have a new car, and would love a 50th enthusiast to have it. It needs a little work as it's rusting here and there, but nothing massive. The power steering has a slow weep which I've fixed once, though may need another box, and the spotlights cable has become pinched, but it's been serviced regularly, starts first time and runs beautifully. I've owned it since July 2003 and enjoyed it immensely. Mileage 124,000, taxed until Oct 2013, MOT until March 2014. I've also put it in for the next edition of Land Rover Monthly at £5940 and it may be less than it's worth (or not) after reading other posts here and elsewhere, but passing it on to someone who will love it and use it is important to me. Let me know if you need further details and I'll provide them.
** UPDATE ** thanks to everyone who expressed an interest, though GB 199 is now sold.

I'm of the opinion nowadays that a good, decent 50th is £15k all day long. Anything exceptional is knocking on £20k and even the tiredest of the tired is going to be around £8k, so you're right Simon that one was never going to hang around. _________________ Bill

I totally agree with you there Bill.
I think I have pitched GB201 a little under what she is worth at £14250.
Maybe I should up the price ? _________________ Old owner of restored GB 063 .

Having looked at the pics. and the spec. and in view of the fact it's just had a, properly sorted, new engine I reckon you're at least a grand under what it should be, on the price that you've pitched it at. I'd have said it's priced to sell, as was GB199 in this thread, and am a little surprised it's still available as there do seem to be a few genuine people looking right now. _________________ Bill

There are a lot of watchers on eBay but I'm guessing 99% are 50th owners .
I am enjoying every drive in her , and I never tire of driving them over the past 8 years .
These still are my favoured mode of transport so I am in no rush to part with her _________________ Old owner of restored GB 063 .
