Hi can anyone help me locate the part that keeps the clock in position as the one I bought off eBay seems not have anything, and trying to find parts in NZ is near impossible

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I don't have a clock on mine - I don't think UK models had them as standard ???

But in saying that, if your looking for the metal 'U' shaped bracket that sits on the back of the temp or fuel gauge then I'm sure I have one in the garage somewhere.

Hi Gavin

The clock is not standard on mine I want it for the centre of the dash between the rear wiper and cigar lighter bought a nice stainless steel centre piece for it. The clock has a screw thread on back of it which looks like a locking screw can go all the way down and hold it in place, thanks for the offer but I don't think the bracket would work.

Cheers

Kevin

Sounds very much like a clock from VDO instruments which are available in NZ.

This listing shows a clock similar to the one I bought but this one seems to have a locking nut on maybe it comes with the clock and I bought a dud

Morris Turner at www.stag4x4.co.nz rebuilt a Japanese import 50th and is a good source as is Max or Steven at Canterbury Land Rover spares as from memory they rebuilt a US NAS90 to NZ RHD specs; other than that Central 4WD in Queenstown are really good and competetive
