98000 miles £ 7000 kick off with reserve

Seems to me there are quite a few 50ths up for sale lately

I would agree, as you know by my previous posts I am looking to buy and at the moment there seems to at least half a dozen to choose from in addition to the crazy priced one's that have been "restored." The listing you refer to is a re-list from last week when it achieved £7100 but didn't make the seller's reserve price.

Hard to tell from the pics but is it on ordinary silver freestyle alloy wheels?

After asking apparently what was on the car from the previous owner. Seems to be attracting attention this time.

What is your opinion on it Peter? Worth a punt around the £8k mark?

Yes, seems good value at £ 8k

I don't like the high milage, albeit is 12 yo, nor the fairy lights

Good points are 2 owners, current for 10 years and the LPG

Thanks for the insight although I do actually quite like the fairy lights! Very Happy

I guess the mileage is about average for being 12 years old but it is alays nice to have it as low as possible. Do you know anything about the prins lpg systems? i.e. good or bad?

cheers.

No sorry, not my subject, all I do know is that GB 135 has a 80 ltr LPG tank in the rear tub behind the centre console box, so mine is a 4 seater.

The tank is hidden underneath a bespoke chequer plate box, quite a piece of fabrication given the internal roll cage bars that had to be catered for.

Flat topped with lip, so no loss of space, just the loss of 2 inward dickie seats.

Being internal, I have no issues with deep stuff offroading

The performance, mpg etc is just the same as petrol

My 4 "fairy lights" are in same position but off the Hannibal roof rack, each being Hella Metal 8" 185 watt coupled to full beam and 2 x 9" Land Rover Safaris, when I flash somebody, they know it
