I have decided to sell my much loved restoration project to make way for my next 50th restoration project.
This is GB 067 which has been restored back to factory standard.
The work carried out on this is as follows;
Bare metal external respray,
Shot blasted and re powder coated roll cage,
Shot blasted and re powder coated rear bumper,
New front bumper,
New A bar ,
New spot lights,
New lights and light surrounds,
New front grill,
New chequred plate on the rear step, rear quarters, sides and front wings,
Refurbished wheels,
New BF tyres,
New exhaust system,
New door hinge bolts in stainless,
New rear shocks,
New steering box,
New steering damper,
New electric windows,
New mud flaps,
1001 new bolts
It has just had it's 60k service which cost ( £600 )
This is what i can remember just off of the top of my head . There is so much more. i have reciepts for just about every thing.
The restoration has cost a small fortune and owes me £13500- £14000,
so i am looking to recover my costs ,I dont feel you could restore a 50th any cheaper than this. I dont expect to make a profit as i restore landrovers just for fun in my spare time, and it keeps me out trouble with the wife....
I can send photos of the 50th to any one who is interested, just pm me with your email address.

Your mad Simon
I had a good look at his 50th at Dunsfold and he has done a great job, no expense spared. A 50th is nearly 11 years old so it makes sence buying this one at this price as its like new, as he says your never do what he did for that money.
Good luck _________________ James

Simon
Just a thought - but if you are looking for a 50th project then maybe we cd do a part ex. Mine's quite nice, and I'm working through it - just reundersealed - mechanically excellent. Paint work is generally nice, but am working on the bubbling, will probably buy a new back door and spray it up. All the 50th bells/ whistles.
I wd not do this lightly, having cared for 65 for 5 yrs or so, but given my limited time to bring her back to tip top condition it will take me a while - and knowing where it's going will ease my pain.
Did you have only an outright sale in mind - or might you consider this as an alternative _________________ Rob

Cheers Peter. Hard work indeed but enjoyable too .
I am now tempted to restore other peoples 50th rather than purchase another one myself. _________________ Old owner of restored GB 063 .

Simon does a great impression of a patient sneaky experienced fisherman complete with rod, line and a dangling juicy worm wriggling off the end of it - ought to be an insurance broker _________________ Peter
