Hi - looks like the cold weather, alarms running and not using it for a week spelt the end of my battery.
Anyone know of a heavy duty battery that will fit and easily available.

all of them!
theres loads of room for just one battery.
optima, varta dont matter which 800amps plus should keep you going nicely for a few years.
my best tip on batteries don't buy a cheap one, no matter how temping it my seem.
fit two and split charge em???
never a problem again..... _________________ Sadly not a 50th member any longer more like a hanger-on if you know what i mean.

I'm thinking of getting a Exide Maxxima Battery (deep cycle) as sold by scorpion Racing.
Anyone any experience of these or know if its suitable for an irregularly used v8

Hi
I don't use mine every day and I've fitted an Optima red - got it from Devon 4x4 - great deal - suggest you try them. It works a treat
Cheers

PS - I've also fiited an optima yellow to use when camping etc for the fridge - Devon do a mounting frame as well to take both batts for around 50 notes - and yes they fit in like a dream . |
