NOW SOLD My Land Rover Defender 90 50th Anniversary was a limited-edition model released to celebrate the marque’s 50 year anniversary, and was the first model to be fitted with an automatic transmission outside of North America. Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre V8, delivering around 188bhp to all four wheels via a four-speed ZF automatic transmission. It is now highly collectable amongst enthusiasts and collectors as prices rise. This is number 168 out of 385 produced although there are only believed to be around 200 left on the road or SORN'ed.

All 50th Anniversary models are finished in beautiful Atlantis Blue, with contrasting aluminium chequer plate on the upper front wings, side sills, rear step, and lower rear quarter panels. Chrome Sides and A bar with Genuine Land Rover Spotlights are also standard fit.

Inside there is grey half vinyl and patterned cloth upholstery, black dashboard and the GB168 unique numbered build plaque behind the gear shifter. It sits on the correct set of 16-inch ‘Freestyle’ alloy wheels finished in pewter grey with anodised lips, which are have the correct BF Goodrich Trail-Terrain T/A tyres fitted.

Standard equipment includes an external and internal front roll cage, high/low range gearbox, heater and ventilation controls, air conditioning, 4 fold-up rear seats and the original Phillips Radio Cassette player.

I have owned GB168 for 12 years and searched the UK high and low to find an original, well cared for example which I continued to care for and service in my ownership. It comes with a wallet full of Service History. The chassis is in excellent condition as can be seen from the photos with a few age related paint marks as you would expect from an original Defender. I am the 5th owner and all previous owners are documented. It has always been garaged in my ownership and the previous owner to.

GB168 comes with the V5c, two keys/remotes for the alarm and central locking, Full Owners Leather Handbook. It has the sort after Croytec polished aluminium kit which can be seen on the window winders, door handles, bezels and stalks. I have the original black plastic parts if required.

This vehicle is exportable to the USA being over 25 years old and having its original Engine, Chassis and Gearbox. All numbers therefor match.

Happy to answer any questions, provide more pictures. Should you wish to drive it then you will need fully comprehensive insurance which I will need to see proof of.

Payment by BACS only and GB168 will only be released upon cleared funds in my bank account confirmed by my bank

£47,500.00
