|
|
Hi,
My aircon has stopped working.
My garage says "I have had a look at the Defender and the fault is not a leak, the system has refrigerant. the problem you have is that there is a blockage, and based on my investigation I suspect the expansion valve which is inside the vehicle behind the dash.
The problem you have is the part is no longer available.... "
Can anyone tell me the part number, and where i can get one, even second hand? Thanks.

If you look on LR classic parts website you will be able to navigate all parts- I bought a new condenser a couple of years ago- comes as an assembly- valve included but it’s not cheap- £600 ish |

Apologies- I meant evaporator assembly- not condenser and just looked it’s now £700 and not in stock anymore- the valve was available separately- but not anymore- worth sending them a message |
