Now here is a surprise !
As our horse Marmite later this month will be retired to pastures new, I have a decision to make.
His support wagon is my Jeep Wrangler 4.0 - a great car had it 18 years and showing 31k
So having made the decision a car needs to be moved on - I have settled on the 50th GB 135 - a lot of you guys know her, about as non standard yet standard as you can get.
Not a worthy candidate for a Simon Durrant full restoration, I think she just fine as she is, a 50th sort of "Tomb Raider"
As we stand, she will hit market October after a complete spruce up
I will not be greedy, nor will I give it away.
I bought her 2004 with 36,114 showing on a 2005 MOT
Today she is approx 44,000 - few pixel problems but 2014 was 41855, 2016 was 42683 - You do the maths
Used all the time but doesn't go very far and my mileage is spread over 6 vehicles
I'm putting this feeler out early in case anybody fancies getting ahead of the game and want a look (Gatwick) and/or want the full spec emailed across
(Bowyer G10 winch, full Hannibal roof rack, Old Man Emu, 90 ltr LPG, 2" lift,
G4 Mogul seats - always covered - Mantec stuff - it goes on and on)
Will be starting at £ 23,000 ...
AND
You can prize the personal plate that is on her from me for £3,000 and that's a steal in itself - L44ND R
