Hi,
Looking to get new doors and so far I've had nothing but problems with two different suppliers.
First was damaged in transit, but was also very poorly assembled.
Second was a genuine rear door, where they took my money and then a week later admitted they didn't have any stock and would take another 2 weeks.
Who would you recommend? _________________ GB320

Hi Thanks.
Hmmm. That supplier is one I tried. They confirmed stock, took my money and then the following week called to tell me there would be a 2 week delay.
Afraid I don't have much trust in a retailer who takes hundreds of pounds and then tries to find stock.
It's sharp practice that most retailers avoid (or are at least honest about it up front) _________________ GB320

I used that supplier's front doors when I restored 282 early last year, slight delay on delivery as well, but I found them ok and the doors supplied were a good product.
For the rear door I used JSF 4x4 in Norwich (as I do for most things), Nathan runs parts dept. there and is very good a digging up hard to find parts at sensible money. |
