Partly as a response to Andrew (J 175) from NZ I have hacked the RAVE CD and managed to extract the Owner's Manual, Maintenance Sheets, and the Workshop Supplement for the 50th into standard pdf files.

Service Check List is 750Kb

Owners Manual 21Mb

Workshop Manual Supplement 48Mb

Very Happy

From memory the workshop manual is about 50Mb. A bit big to email I'm afraid.

I have just checked the link and it seems to be working fine. You may just need to give it some time to download.

Try here...

Thank you for posting the manuals on line, I have copied them to a stick and will get them printed off as required, even better is the fact I now have a readable version of the owners manual that I can get printed off. Much appreciated; when next in Gods Own County I will owe you a beer or three!

Tyke57NZ,

That makes 2 in NZ.

Andy Wong has No. 175. I originally hacked the RAVE CD for Andy as he didn't have the manuals either. Not heard from him for years so I don't know whether he still has 175. I have a dozen or so photos of '50th 175' still.

You can have a NZ branch of the Defender 50th Owners Club now.

I know of a couple but I don`t think there are that many here, so possibly a 50th club wouldn't be realistic. However a good general Land Rover forum on line http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/NZLANDROVEROwners and a very good Land Rover owners club in Auckland. Quite a few independant specialists and with the internet information is easy to obtain.

Seeing as Allan is no longer of this parish does anyone else have the Service Sheets for a 50th?

I don't have any manuals with my 50th so many thanks to Allan for uploading them.

However they do not allow download - only online browsing. Does anyone have PDF versions they can share ?

Thanks
Rupert
