JLR have confirmed we can have the event on 20th May.
As we won’t fill the car park and they have been talking with the local Range Rover Register who want a 30 car meet we are going to have them come along as well, in a section of the car park
Looks like we should be able to get at least 50 50th together, well done everyone, should be able to get more still _________________ James

Sounds good! I picked up an '07 RR Supercharged last week (I couldn't stay away from LR!), I will be coming in that and fit right in then _________________ ex-GB343 5.0L JE Supersports

Excellent James. With regards the plan I maybe able to help?
We could start with GB001 then.......?
Seriously by meeting elsewhere we could get in some order then convoy in and park up easily and in order.
Does anyone have skills at doing video/photography of vehicles arriving ??......obviously not in JLR airspace
Would be good to hear the V8s on approach and round the roundabout at the entrance to the site
Would save having to search for some V8 noise on youtube ??!!! |

Well done all for arranging this special event. Happy to bring the polished aluminium, non 50th i know but it was built for the 50th events around the world. I wont drive it there as it still has only 200 Kmh on the clock. Subject to other events and work i would love to attend.
If not suitable i understand and can bring my 50th Freelander up instead. Ok i will now go and hide in the corner and write 100 lines "its not a Defender" "its not a Defender" _________________ Trustee of the Dunsfold Collection and Director of Dunsfold Landrovers. As we donate to this "50th" I think it should be there!
Thoughts? _________________ Cheers

Would love to see either/both, but the polished Ali one is a bit of an icon, so I would vote for that.

If there's enough space please count me in too - GB248 would love to be there.
Thanks to Phil at DLR for mentioning this event to me as I hadn't had a look at the forum for a while.
Also met GB051 at Goodwood on Saturday and told the owners about the event. Hopefully they will come along as well. _________________ Cheers, Chris

Please add GB370 to the list, sounds like a great event.
Please also provide an indication of start and finish times, so we can plan related travel, many thanks. _________________ Nigel-50th
