Suggested meet date being muted is August 2018

That's when most S reg was released

(Yes I know there are some Ts - some rare Rs and even rarer Vs

Some (R) released early, the T & Vs - the 50th was very expensive in the day and some were very slow to sell, and then get registered

and besides, the sun will be shining

South is a bit far for me; I'm based in the North West; but happy to attend a Midlands based event.

+1 don't do Facebook either

We're East Anglia based so Midlands or South would be ok; if it was actually a sunny day we'd bring the '94 NAS soft top out to play! otherwise 50th

Being in Scotland it would be ideal if it were in Scotland but alternatively North of England could suit - sorry don’t do Facebook or other social media.

Hi Peter and all,

Happy new year to you all!

Mine is an early registered 50th, being June 98 (R plate).

As well as being the 20th anniversary of our machines, it's obviously Land Rover's 70th birthday on 30th April. Agree that with peoples summer holidays, we should avoid the kids main holiday (July to September)......

Just to add, I have a few irons in the fire reference events, and should have some news mid January.......

Guessing that Tata won't be rolling out a 70th Anniversary model .....

This sounds very exciting, I have asked to join the facebook group.

Would be great to attend the event, for the greatest Defender.

Good one Peter - I doubt it!!

To me it looks like North of the M25 ....

Midlands 9, North West 3, East 2, London 3, Wales 3 = 20 then with the west counrty as well = 23

- probably all with 100 miles or so of Lode Lane Very Happy

lets see what James & Greg come up with!

Another none Facebook user but would be interested dependent on place and potentially no clash of dates.

Please put me down for South of England.

Collective noun for such a gathering,a swamp of 50ths or perhaps a rumble!

Happy New Year to all.

Stephen.
