Well, after a successful Goodwood Revival event with the launch of the new TVR....it's time to let something go and make some space! GB343 will be going up for sale.
I will stick up some pictures when I've managed to wash it, but if anyone is interested here are some details, before it gets advertised elsewhere.
It's a 1998 S-reg supplied by HR Owen London, who fitted central locking and electric windows from new. The engine was upgraded in 2003 by JE Engineering, with the JE 5.0L Supersport specification.
In my ownership it has had:
-fuel gauge replaced
-fuel tank guard replaced
-Hedman Hedder tubular manifolds
-Stainless Steel full exhaust, custom RPI.
-Tornado Chip Upgraded for 5.0L mapping, with magnecore ignition leads, all fitted by RPI.
-OEM shocks and springs, plus rear ARB replaced
Mileage now at 54k (new speedo fitted at 30k as per Service Book).
All history and servicing bills, including original order sheet. Recently serviced and MOT'd with new pads fitted all round.
Looking for offers around £32,000 _________________ ex-GB343 5.0L JE Supersports

Yeah, the time has come. It's great fun to drive but something has to go. Hopefully it will find a new home for someone to enjoy it as much as I have! _________________ ex-GB343 5.0L JE Supersports

Hello to the Forum,Aaron has passed the custody of GB343 over to me.
It's previous owners have been very thorough in their maintenance and sympathetic in it's treatment not least the work carried out by Aaron!
This is a quantum leap from 643cc Haflingers for me although I took my driving test in a Series 1(in the dark ages) and have since had Landies dating from 49 to 97 0n and off.
My grandparents had a hill farm and a succession of LRs from 1949 so they are probably to blame for the infection anyway very glad to be back in the fold
and supported by such a good forum. _________________ GB343 |
