The galv Richards chassis has been t-washed, etch primed and painted with epoxy mastic.
It's a bit rougher/more textured finish than I'd like - looks a little like the old bitumen paint that never sets, but by heck its strong stuff - it's "bounce hammer" hard! I'll gladly sacrifice a bit of chassis shine for durability.
Rear crossmember was spray painted gloss black - it's too shiny - so I'll rub it down and spray it Matt black.
The vehicle dismantling progresses well - with over 2kg of old audio kit and wiring removed, it's looking a lot neater behind the dash.
So far no really nasty rusted bolts, but is suppose that will change when I get to the undersides...
