Has anyone removed the roll cage?
I asking regarding the rear leg / fixing that goes through the roof to the internal hoop. Are these bolts entering captive nuts? and jus a simple undo from outside - or do you need to remove the rear section of headlining to get a spanner on them.
The rest all are easy to get to; should I need to remove it for a refresh.
Also does the internal hoop move making it a swine to line up the bolts on refitting?
Cheers

It was a few years ago that i did it but I am 99% sure the grey internal cage has captured nuts so you can remove the external bars without accessing the inside. Mine went back together easy enough, there is some play engineered in the connection between the horizontal bars and front cage section so should not cause you any issues. |
