It is a genuine GB model and still blue on the inside - its a shame Nene ruining it turning it into their Auto Charger... but the respray in black was done professionally and they tidying up the normal body corrosion in the process.

Not being original allows me to put my own touches on it... it could still be resprayed original colour at some point - who knows.

For now it still drives and feels exactly the same.

Oh no, what a shame, well if you want it sorting i'm sure we can do it.

It does actually look good as it is tho...

Is it supercharged?

Its not super charged - just the name Nene gave it.
I can't justify the cost of a respray - it wouldn't make it anymore fun Smile

Its lost some originality already such as the side steps, so never going to be 100% GB Original... maybe one day it could get a full rebuild and new steps fabricated etc, but thats only if market demand wanted it like that - if I were to sell it.

It doesn't ow me anything and i happy with it as is.

Agree with BJD, looks great Smile

I have to say that as mine is painted Metallic Epsom Green, from the showroom, with other mods too, such as leather interior, electric windows, 5 tank lpg, supercharger etc etc. So yours is more original then mine. (I don’t feel bad, not at all).

So now we got to call the defender50Th club, black, blue and green similar to gangrene. Ouch Sorry.

Have fun with your 50Th Smile
