hi all, just got at jap 50th. i would like to change the speedo so its in mph rather than kph. can anyone help me with a part number or where best to get one? is it just a td5 speedo or no?

I made a few inquiries when I got mine, I think the part number is AMR5721 and they are about 550 inc. VAT Shocked and they are quite rare. I now have a gps speedo app on my phone Laughing

You can always send it off to cluster repairs, they can make a face for it that shows MPH & Kms but keeps the mileage in kms and comes with a certificate that it is UK legal.

Much cheaper than changing the speedo; I did it for a Toyota we brought back from Dubai and it was a perfect job

I wish I'd known that, mine has just come back from Cluster repairs after they repaired the odometer part Crying or Very sad

It was a couple of years ago so not sure on the exact cost but it was less than 200 for the Toyota, which was a complete instrument cluster not just the small speedo so the Defender should be cheaper i expect.
