Still hear James - just having a busy spring/summer - Di had a bad fall and twisted her ankle so that put May out, then Emma broke her thumb. We managed to get to Eastnor but to be honest it was a wash out so we went home. On the way down though we had the 50th Mark Adams'ed - at the new 4x4 rolling road in Shrewsbury - what a difference - I then got a speeding ticket on the way home from Eastnor Mad - Billing & Newark couldn't make as we are on holiday in France Laughing . Hope to make Peterborough - any plans for a club stand ? or meet ?

No more donations. Will be in contact with Dunsfold soon to arrange what we can do for the vehicle and to go down to give it a clean up.

Hi,

Just a quick update, I spoke with Phil Bashall last Friday, we are going to sort out a plan about a month before the next open day. The car is currently a bit difficult to get to so he will get it out and get it to his yard before the open day.

Many thanks for all the kind donations

Hi,

Yes Richards made a donation for the Dunsfold car. As i said in the last post it might not be got out till the next open day (June 2013).
This is a long term project and like anything will cost alot to restore.

It's going to cost a hell of a lot to restore if access is only allowed once every 4 years, that'll clearly be one step forward and three steps back. June 2013 !! FFS.
Have they actually granted any access to it yet ? If not, why don't we just donate the money to the collection or buy it a de-humidifier or some such ?

Hi Bill,

Sorry, it was just when i spoke to Phil as i said in the previous post, the best time would be when its already needed to be out. Iím sure he would let work be done on it anytime. Its not as if we have much to spend on it, so would be better to accumulate some money first.
