Hi

I have an overheating issue. The temp gauge does not go above half but the OBD reading for engine temp can go over 100degrees when in traffic.

I am wondering if its the air temperature sensor so want to change it for a new one and see if there is a difference. Can anyone confirm the part number is ERR2946. This number is obsolete so is there an alternative?

Last question is will it be plug and play or does it need some form of calibration or programming?
