Looks like it went for £18k which looks pretty decent value given mileage and the fact it looks decent (always hard to tell in pictures though).

Looks like a trend is emerging. Seems that a standard unrestored 50th in OK condition is pitched at around £20k + asking price these days, with an achieved price of £18-19k. What takes them into £30k or even £40k + territory is the quality of the restoration. Everyone seems to have different ideas about what full restoration should cost, depending of course on the original condition and who does the restoration.

I think you are right on prices. You can spend whatever you want on a restoration, but the quality can vary greatly. A few have a great reputation, and worth seeking those out if you are going to do it.
