Well done Chris and welcome to the fold. Did you buy this from Rosendale Land Rovers or whatever they're called? Tell us more and happy ownership! |

Sorry it has taken so long to reply. GB071 was bought from NW Defenders and was a chance find on Ebay. I am absolutely delighted to have finally got a 50th and it will be a good companion to a 1994 NAS 90. |

Hi Chris,
Welcome to the forum, I have emailed you before about NAS stuff as I go one of those common old 94 yellow NAS's. _________________ James

Hi Chris,
It was back in 2011 you did reply. I bought something 50th related off you from ebay and remembered your name from when you were in LRO with your NAS.
My NAS is a never exported early 94, aa yellow very much the same as yours and you can see my 50th here: http://www.defender50th.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=714 _________________ James

As I recall, I was selling some window winders I think. Your 50th looks tremendous. Hope it still looks as good as it does in the photos. Have got some work to do on GB071, as it has been added to with various bits of checker plate that will be coming off but otherwise is remarkably standard. Thankfully it has not been LPG'd. Suffers from the usual rust so will be getting a repaint at some stage and need to sort out a non functioning odometer. Other than that, am very glad to have finally got one. |

Hi Chris,
It was a couple of 50th canvas banners according to my email but I don't remember what they look like, I must have put them away with all my 50th stuff and forgot about them.
Sound like your going to have some fun making your 50th look better
So what's with the 3doorchris user name? Range rovers?? _________________ James

I think I remember them now; I should have kept them! As well as the NAS and the 50th, I have a 3 door Classic and a 25th Anniversary Classic. Should have called myself "2 door" I suppose but am new to this forum stuff so was in a bit of a panic when setting myself up. |

A 25th anniversary, oh my god,oh my god, oh my god, one I would certainly love to own.
What number is yours? Has it done many miles? _________________ James

Number 18. Have had it some years now. I used to own number 24 many years ago but very stupidly sold it. It has had a lot of work as those old girls certainly know how to rust! It has done around 70,000 miles. They do occasionally come up for sale so keep looking. |
