I am the new owner of GB201 .
I picked her up yesterday and drove her home , I managed 18mpg but I was driving sensibly as she needs a new engine due to a pourus block which sadly these beasts suffer from .
I have a fantastic cross bolt Turner engineering engine about to go in GB201 which has only covered 2000 miles from new and is a new block not a re conditioned block with new ancillaries from my good friend Victor.

I am unsure if I will restore her but any enquiries welcome .

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Le Minibograt est toujours a vie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where have you been old boy?

You replied NOT to my post about finding Old Number Five - I thought you had emigrated or had a porous block but then I saw the BIG DIRTY ONE WITH ALL THE LIGHTS (as little Natasha calls your lovely 50th) at Waitrose so I knew we were saved.

Sorry to hijack your thread Simon!

Cheers Bill.

I think for the the moment I will get her right up to date mechanically with the new engine and a bit of paint at the back to tidy her up .
The rest of the body is in very good condition along with the interior too.
Due to a pending divorce the solicitors are doing a good job of draining funds from my account Confused So I will see what is left in my pot after the new engine is fitted .

Don't worry guys, I'm still here, been busy heading a campaign to block a proposal to build 50 houses around my old farmhouse.

Pleased to say that the Council Planners have officially sent the developers a Dear John - bugger off back to Wilts letter.

Normal service resumes shortly

Nice to know someone cares .....

GB 201 is Vault0's old motor, nest pa Simon ?

Post divorce, does that mean the replacement engine will only have 4 cylinders ?

NORMAL SERVICE HAS BEEN RESUMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peter and Simon

my own personal D-Day is near - old Delores is over at Matt The Exhaust in Basingstoke having serious bespoke stainless system - 2.5 inch pipe for each bank, straight out the back either side of the towbar - out of genuine concern for my fellow residents of Horley (BOGRAT) I have reluctantly agreed to put a silencer on each side - but only a little one.

Then it's just wiring up the instruments, put the seats and trim in, finish off the roll-cage (50th) connect up the PAS, and some little odds and sods then off to MOT.

I humbly request an honorary place in the 50th convoy into Brighton this year - do you think this can be arranged?
